After years away from photography, I rediscovered my creative spark during the challenging Covid lockdown. Drawn to the supportive community on X (formerly Twitter) via the group @Gallery365photo, I reconnected with photography through daily prompts and monthly projects inspired by renowned photographic styles. This experience not only reignited a long-dormant passion but also provided a platform to experiment, learn, and evolve.

Embracing the convenience and creativity of modern technology, I have transitioned to becoming almost exclusively an iPhone photographer. This enables me to capture spontaneous, striking images that resonated with a growing audience. My renewed focus quickly led to exciting opportunities, including participation in the Photo North Festival in Leeds during both 2023 and 2024, and a featured exhibition at Newcastle Library in February 2025.

The journey continued to flourish with a significant milestone in March 2025, when my photographs were exhibited at Cleethorpes Library as part of a collaborative painting and photography showcase alongside friends. Further recognition came with an honourable mention in the Black & White category in the Mobiography Awards 2024.

My story is one of reinvention, resilience, and the unwavering belief that it’s never too late to pursue a passion. I continue to explore, inspire, and remind myself that creativity can flourish in even the most unexpected circumstances.
